Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of passenger material hoists and suspended rope platforms, by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting client sites, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing sales. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support, as well as monitoring market trends and competitor activities. The Sales Manager will be expected to achieve sales targets, maintain accurate sales reports, and provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline, forecasts, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction equipment, industrial machinery, or related engineering products.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, customer relationship management, and negotiation.
  • Ability to understand technical product features and explain them clearly to customers in commercial terms.
  • Proficiency in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and basic sales reports using common office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients at multiple levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including planning field visits and managing multiple accounts.
  • Comfort with on-site client visits, site conditions, and coordination with project and procurement teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Hyderabad and Telangana construction market is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
