Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Odisha, India, responsible for driving sales growth for Clans Machina’s clean-energy solutions. This role includes identifying and qualifying prospective customers, conducting sales presentations and site visits, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure. The Sales Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial clients, collaborate with technical and project teams to create tailored proposals, and ensure smooth handover from sales to execution. The role also involves tracking sales performance, preparing regular reports, and contributing to sales strategies, pricing inputs, and market expansion plans in the region. The Sales Manager is expected to stay informed about solar and clean-energy trends, local market dynamics, and competitor offerings to support sustainable business growth.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Candidates should possess client relationship and communication skills, including stakeholder management, presentation abilities, and customer service orientation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of solar and clean-energy solutions, with the ability to understand technical offerings, conduct basic site assessments, and explain benefits to customers.
- Candidates should possess planning and organizational skills, including territory management, time management, and proficiency in using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Relevant experience in solar, renewable energy, or related infrastructure sales is highly beneficial, preferably in the Odisha or broader Indian market.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with comfort working on-site and traveling within the region as needed.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and inclusive business practices
