Job Title: Sales Manager – South India (RTLS /RFID/ Industrial IoT)

Location: Chennai (Preferred) | Field Role | Work from Home

Vitracx is an RTLS (Real-Time Location System) solution provider helping manufacturing and industrial companies achieve real-time visibility of assets, people, and processes.

We work with technologies like BLE, UWB, RFID, and LoRaWAN to solve use cases such as asset tracking, WIP tracking, yard and vehicle tracking, and worker safety.

 

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager – South India to drive business across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

This is a field-intensive, individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, including lead generation, solution selling, POC execution, and closure.

 

Key Responsibilities

Market Development

  • Build pipeline across key industrial clusters such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hosur, Coimbatore, Sriperumbudur, and Hyderabad
  • Identify and penetrate manufacturing and industrial accounts

Lead Generation

  • Generate leads through field visits, cold outreach, LinkedIn, and network development
  • Maintain a strong and consistent sales funnel

Solution Selling

  • Understand customer challenges such as asset tracking, WIP visibility, yard management, and worker safety
  • Pitch RTLS solutions in a consultative manner
  • Conduct on-site demos and presentations

POC Execution and Conversion

  • Drive Proof of Concepts at customer locations
  • Coordinate with internal teams for deployment
  • Convert POCs into full-scale deployments

Sales Closure and Ownership

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from first meeting to closure
  • Handle commercial discussions and negotiations
  • Achieve revenue targets

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with Plant Heads, Operations teams, and Digital/Industry 4.0 stakeholders

 

Candidate Profile

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience (IoT, RFID, or Automation preferred)
  • Experience selling to manufacturing or industrial clients
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South India
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
  • Based in Chennai preferred

 

Compensation

  • Fixed Salary: ₹5–8 LPA
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Travel and stay reimbursement
