Position Title: Sales Executive - Histopathology/Molecular Diagnostics


Experience: 2–5 Years


Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences (Preferably Pathology / Microbiology / Biotechnology)

Job Summary:


DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and result-oriented Territory Sales Executive to drive sales and business development for its histopathology and molecular diagnostics product portfolio in the Gujarat and Maharashtra region. The role requires strong technical understanding, customer engagement skills, and the ability to develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with key customers.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve assigned sales and collection targets within the territory.
  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and research institutes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key customers in the region.
  • Monitor and manage sales prospects and pipeline to ensure sustainable business growth.


Customer Engagement

  • Conduct regular customer visits across the territory with 7–10 travel days per month outside the base location.
  • Provide product presentations, demonstrations, and solution-based discussions with customers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.


Technical & Application Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Application Support team for complaint resolution, sample handling, and customer technical queries.
  • Provide timely feedback from customers to internal teams for better service delivery.


Market Development

  • Drive market development activities through participation in CMEs, workshops, conferences, and scientific meetings.
  • Track and report competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.


Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit regular sales reports, activity reports, and market intelligence updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data for analysis and planning.


Job Specification

  • Experience in selling Histopathology, Diagnostics, or Molecular Biology products.
  • Exposure to IHC, RT-PCR, CE, or NGS technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Strong customer service attitude and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Self-driven professional capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Established relationships with KOLs and key customers in the region will be preferred.


Additional Skills

  • Experience working with a Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Diagnostics company preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Strong market knowledge and customer network in the Gujarat region.
  • Ability to maintain and analyse sales data and market insights.
