Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for managing inbound sales inquiries and supporting the sales team in converting them into qualified business opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for MBA freshers who want to build a long-term career in B2B SaaS sales, enterprise selling, and business development. Internship exposure in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles will be an added advantage.
The role requires strong communication skills, confidence in speaking with clients, and a willingness to learn structured sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound Lead Management & Qualification
- Handle inbound leads from website forms, campaigns, emails, and partnerships
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client requirements
- Identify customer pain points and assess business fit
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria
- Ensure timely follow-ups and engagement
2. Client Interaction & Brand Representation
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients
- Explain Roadcast’s products, use cases, and value proposition
- Address basic queries related to product features and implementation
- Coordinate product demos with the sales team
3. CRM & Sales Funnel Management
- Maintain accurate lead details in CRM
- Update call notes, follow-ups, and status regularly
- Support smooth handover of qualified leads to senior sales members
- Track lead movement and ensure no opportunity is missed
4. Reporting & Learning
- Track response time and lead conversion metrics
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams
- Continuously improve communication scripts and qualification skills
- Learn about logistics, fleet management, and SaaS sales processes

Skills Required
