Sales and Marketing Management Trainee

Reports to: Sales Manager / Director – Growth

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly driven and ambitious Sales Management Trainee who wants to build a long-term career in Business Development and Revenue Growth.

This role is designed to groom future Sales Managers by giving hands-on exposure to:

• Lead generation
• Client acquisition
• Pitching & negotiations
• Revenue forecasting
• CRM & pipeline management

Role Overview:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, cold emails, inbound leads, and networking
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and opportunities

2. Client Outreach & Meetings

• Initiate contact via calls, emails, and social selling
• Schedule and assist in sales meetings and discovery calls
• Understand client marketing objectives and pain points

3. Sales Support & Pitching

• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and media plans
• Support negotiations and commercial discussions
• Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to build custom solutions

4. CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records in CRM
• Track deal stages and probability
• Monitor KPIs such as lead-to-meeting ratio, win rate, and deal velocity

5. Revenue & Target Ownership

• Work towards monthly/quarterly revenue targets
• Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Assist in forecasting revenue

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (freshers welcome)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• High ownership mindset and hunger for growth
• Basic understanding of digital marketing/performance marketing is a plus
• Comfortable with CRM tools and MS Excel / Google Sheets
