You?ll work closely with the founding team to ideate, design, and implement new features that enhance our core product. What You?ll Do: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code following solid object-oriented design principles. Take full ownership of feature implementation from technical design to deployment. Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, bugs, and scalability issues. Collaborate with the customer success and product teams to analyze requirements and build robust solutions. Maintain and optimize APIs for performance and reliability. Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions. Continuously optimize the application for performance and scalability. What You Bring: 3?5 years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC architecture. Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (database design, query optimization, indexing). Experience working with background jobs, caching, and API integrations. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Git and version control best practices. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly across teams. Bonus Points: Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics. Understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies in Rails. Familiarity with DelayedJob, Sidekiq, Redis, or other background job frameworks.
