About the Role: We?re looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our ROR team and contribute to building scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications. In this role, you will be working with the latest versions of Ruby (3.3.1) and Rails (8.0.2), while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and user-centric solutions. This role is perfect for someone with 2?3 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, has strong backend expertise, and is also comfortable with front-end technologies. Key Responsibilities:- Develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications (Ruby 3.3.1, Rails 8.0.2). - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Implement testing frameworks (RSpec) for robust and reliable applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and QA. - Work with REST APIs and tools like Postman for integration and testing. - Version control and collaboration using GitHub and GitLab. - Manage tasks and workflows using Jira. - Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, and React. - Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.- Stay up-to-date with new ROR features, trends, and best practices. Education Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. What You Bring: - 2?3 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development. - Strong understanding of Ruby 3.3.1 and Rails 8.0.2. - Proficiency in RSpec, Postman, and API integration. - Experience working with GitHub/GitLab and agile tools like Jira. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ability to work with Next.js and React. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus if you have: - Experience with performance optimization and scaling ROR applications. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
