Position: Senior Software Engineer

Experience: 5-9yrs

Main location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full Time

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer with strong expertise in C and C++ development. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and analytical problem-solving. This role requires the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality software solutions in a dynamic development environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C and C++.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and implement efficient software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code following coding standards and best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Independently own assigned tasks and deliver them within committed timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and software quality.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using C and C++.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts (12:00 PM to 9:30 PM).
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with debugging and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with code review and software quality best practices.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix development environments.
• Understanding of multithreading and concurrent programming concepts.
