Job Description: RPA Developer - Python Automation – Technical Lead (Exp: 8- 12 Years)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced RPA Developer - Python Automation as a Technical Lead with strong hands-on Python automation experience to support, evaluate and enhance existing RPA solutions. The role will collaborate with users and technical teams to troubleshoot incidents, gather requirements, develop Python-based automation and APIs, build new bots, support testing, and contribute to rollouts or minor projects.

• Python scripting and object-oriented development for automation.
• REST API integration, XML parsing and XPath.
• RDBMS/SQL, JSON handling and data validation.
• Git repository, code review and CI/CD basics.
• Experience should have 8-12 Years of RPA Developer - Python Automation as a Technical Lead of which 6- 9 years of hands-on experience as an RPA Developer/Consultant or similar role, including minimum 4 years of Python automation/scripting experience.
• Proven hands-on experience in process automation/RPA development
• Strong Python programming experience for automation, scripting and backend integration
• Experience with Python libraries such as requests, pandas/openpyxl, logging and exception handling
• Knowledge of REST API development/integration and JSON/XML data handling
• Knowledge of XML Path (XPath), parsing and data extraction techniques
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries and data validation
• Experience with Git repository usage, branching, pull requests and version control discipline
• Ability to analyze/map processes and formulate automation recommendations
• Ability to quickly identify root cause and solve production issues
• Ability to translate business needs into secure, maintainable automated solutions
• Interest in continuous learning about new technologies and automation patterns
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Professional communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and the RPA team
• Experience in writing/executing unit and integration test cases; supporting business UAT
• Knowledge of VBA for Microsoft Excel/Outlook and migration of VBA logic to Python where applicable
• Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph and API-based workflow automation
• Skills related to browser automation using Selenium WebDriver with Python
• Windows environment, Jenkins/Git-based CI/CD and scheduled job administration skills
• Work experience with SCRUM/Agile delivery approach and code review practices
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

Incident Management and Troubleshooting : Maintain and troubleshoot existing robots and Python automation scripts; introduce changes due to new requirements, defects or optimization opportunities.

Configuration, Enhancements, and RFCs: Design and implement automation solutions for financial and accounting processes using RPA tools, Python, REST APIs, SQL and data validation logic

Compliance and SOx Adherence: Maintain SOx-compliant records for all system changes, code changes, deployments and approvals.

Business Process Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with users, technical teams, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Procurement) to translate process needs into robust Python/RPA automation.

Testing and Documentation: Write and execute unit, integration and UAT test cases for bots, Python scripts and API integrations; create functional and technical documentation. SOX compliance is key.

Knowledge Development: Continuously grow technical knowledge in Python, automation frameworks, APIs, RPA tools and business process areas.

Multi-tasking, Prioritization, Project Support: Manage multiple incidents, RFCs, development tasks and enhancements simultaneously, meeting deadlines with prioritization guidance. Contribute to rollouts, template enhancements, and minor sub-projects, ensuring deliverables meet business, coding and compliance standards.
