Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer (1?2 Years Experience) Location: Pune (On-site) Experience: 1?2 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a passionate Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer with 1?2 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable web applications. You will work closely with our product, design, and QA teams to build new features, optimize performance, and maintain our core applications. Key Responsibilities ? Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code. ? Develop new features and maintain existing applications with best coding practices. ? Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions. ? Build and integrate RESTful APIs. ? Work with ActiveRecord, background jobs (Sidekiq/Resque), and caching strategies (Redis/Memcached). ? Implement unit tests, integration tests, and RSpec/Minitest to ensure code reliability. ? Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues. ? Follow Git-based version control (branching, pull requests, merging, conflict resolution). ? Ensure application security, data protection, and performance optimization. ? Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and stand-ups. Required Skills ? Hands-on experience with VIBE coding standards, debugging. ? Experience in test-driven development (TDD) approach. ? Strong programming skills in Ruby and Rails framework. ? Good understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful design principles. ? Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue is a plus). ? Experience working with MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL (queries, indexing, migrations). ? Familiarity with RSpec/Minitest and writing automated test cases. ? Understanding of background job processing (Sidekiq, Delayed Job). ? Exposure to CI/CD pipelines. ? Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have ? Knowledge of JavaScript and Jquery for Rails full stack applications. ? Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, and API integrations. ? Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP, CSRF, SQL Injection prevention). Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ? 1?2 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development
