Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Designing and developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs. Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs. Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code. Integrating with data storage solutions such as database, file storage or object storage. Creating services using microservices architecture. Dockerize the application / service Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs. Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team. Connecting applications with other internal or third party systems. Must Have Skills: Experience: Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails. Expertise: Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing. Frontend Knowledge: Solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating the ability to work with modern frontend technologies. Cloud Computing: Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service). Willing to work in EST hours. Qualification: BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
