ROR Architect (Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a highly experienced Ruby on Rails Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role requires a strong blend of architectural thinking, hands-on coding expertise, and leadership capabilities to drive end-to-end engineering excellence.

• Define and drive the overall architecture for Ruby on Rails-based applications
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
• Lead technical discussions, solution design, and architecture reviews with stakeholders
• Mentor engineering teams on best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Drive adoption of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices architecture

• 10–15 years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Strong experience in system design and architecture patterns
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Strong database expertise:
• Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL
• NoSQL: Redis, MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong foundation in OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles

• Experience with React.js or modern frontend frameworks
• Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience building high-traffic, enterprise-grade applications
• Prior experience in Architect / Technical Leadership roles
