ABOUT THE ROLE Design is the foundation of any product / IP. But a design that doesn?t know its tool s is just a castle in the ai r. It?s destined to never see the daylight. The design is as good as the tools allow them to be. Without someone skilled enough t o know how to apply their tool s, a design doesn?t evolve . Every compone nt of the design/produ ct is a too l an d learning to apply th em for a given situation and problem, is wha t allows us to discover the utili ty for that Product. People call it testing, market discovery, product discovery, etc . We call it Solution Engineeri ng. And the tool that you would master is a Robotic Ar m. Yo ur PRIMARY CONTRIBUT ION will be towar ds: Suppor t ing CynL r?s design team w ith all the Robot & Robotic Arm related activities ? Design, develop and execute Experiments for algorithms, kinematics, and solutions that the design team comes up w ith.Help wi th simulating robot motion for dynamic path & physics for dynamic manipula tion, algorithms and design and execute its test and validat ion.Help design team w ith Robot UI, IDE, Sample code, Safety of Robot opera tion in the Lab and all ?nuances?, features, best practices and customizations of Robot Operat ion.Help with simulations and training of the robot for Object models and teaching the r obot for pick, orient and place ta sks.Coming up with strategies for solving the manipulation solut ions, by constructing appropriate paths, interferences, collisions, sensing mechanisms and robot sequen ces.Help with augmenting the design team for interfacing with various Robot control lers and establishing communication protocols with the Robotic ArmsUnderstand grasping strategy and device gripper experim ents, assist in gripper des ign.Study, Understand and Assist in choosing the right robot model for the right applica tionInterface with the cust omer and support the custo mer with solu tion implementation and deliv ery.Identify, Connect, and Manage Robot and Robot related accessory and technology vend ors. Job Requirem ents: S kills:Excellent with classification and operation variations between different Industrial R obots models and makes.Excellent with Robot payload comput ations, dynamic payload varia tions.Excellent with work envelope understa nding and designing for maximum and optimal reach.Excellent with visualizing Robot movements and axis vari ations, joint position changes and robot body interfer ences.Excellent with designing Robot Safe operations proc edures, envelopes, and Auto-safety zone.Good knowledge and work experience with End-of-Arm tooling, grasp design and placement st r ategy.Must have a s trong understanding of the Manufacturing process and Assembly lines ? Beyond W eldingMust have had in-depth experience with at least two Robot Programmi ng IDE ? Preferably Doosan, UR, KUKA, plus Yaskawa or F lexiv.Must be adept wit h the kinematics & Dy n amics.Excellent with robot communication protocols ? Ethernet (UDP, TCP), RS232/485, Industrial communication protocols like Modbus, CAN , etc.Good with Sensors, IO programming, PLC Automation, Cabling and Robot & Automation ecosy stems.Programming skill with at least one La nguage - Python / C++ / L abVIEW What do w e seek ? In t his context, bey ond Specializing in the current Role, which will grow as the organization expands, it also serves as a steppingstone i nto core technology design a nd de v elopment roles like Gripper Design, Sensor Design, Machine Learning Algorithm Design & Dev, Object Training and Task Model Specialist, Kinematics, Robot Design, Sensor Interface, Verification & am p; Valida tion, etc. From the customer-facing side, it can evolve as an alte r native to tech into Robot Integration, Application Support, Solution engineering, Business Development, Vendor & Supply chai n Man agement, Sales, etc. If rightly used, this role presents you an opportunity to Build a uni que Role of Your Own. ABOUT US As a foundational technology building compan y in Robotics & AI, CynLr bu ilds visual robots that can intuitively learn to pick & handle even unknown objects without requ iring any prior training, just like a human baby fiddling with objects . CynLr calls this stack O bject Intelligence (OI). From fitting a screw to removing object out of its the plastic wrapper to automating the assembly of a car/gadget - every such object ha ndling task that invo lves "adapting on the fly" is not prior trainable & thereby remains non-automatable a c ros s the industries. With OI's ab ility to learn on the fly, CynLr?s focus is to universally automate factories and eliminate the need for complicated custom machines to manufacture products. Thereby simpl ifying manufacturing into Universal Factories, which can be programmatically repurposed to produce a wide variety of Products. CynLr envisions the future factories to be decentralized, micro factories (not the Giga Factories) that could rather be hosted in your street-ends; opening up the possibility of Personalized Products ? liberating design of products from the constra ints of manufacturability.
