Job Description

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

We are seeking UGV Robotics Interns to work on the development of Unmanned Ground Vehicles for defence, surveillance, logistics, and autonomous mobility applications. Interns will contribute to end-to-end UGV development, including mechanical integration, embedded electronics, autonomy, and field testing.

This role involves real hardware, rough terrain testing, and mission-critical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in UGV chassis design, drive train integration (wheeled / tracked platforms)

Work on motor selection, motor drivers, and power systems

Integrate And Test UGV Sensors

IMU, GPS, wheel encoders

LiDAR, depth cameras, night/thermal cameras (as applicable)

Develop and tune motion control algorithms (PID, velocity control, steering logic)

Implement teleoperation and autonomous navigation features

Work on embedded systems (STM32, Arduino, Pixhawk, Jetson, Raspberry Pi)

Support ROS / ROS2 based development (nodes, topics, launch files)

Conduct field trials, data logging, and failure analysis

Assist in system documentation and SOP creation
