IIIT H Data I Hub Foundation Job Title :Junior ROS2 Engineer Organisation : IIIT H Data IHub Foundation ( IHub-Data ) Location : IIIT H Campus,Gachibowli,Hyderabad Type of Job : Full time ? work from office mode Minimum Experience : 1 year Reporting Manager : Robotics Engineer Organisation Summary : IHub-Data has been created as a Section 8 company that manages the Data Foundation, Research & Technology Development, Applied Research & Translation, HRD & Skill Development, Innovation & Start-ups, and the International Collaborations directly. The Hub helps coordinate, integrate, and amplify basic and applied research in broad Data-Driven Technologies as well as its dissemination and translation across the country. The Hub will also have an intense emphasis on collaborating with international experts in associated areas. This will include joint research, visiting schemes for international experts, involvement in the processes and problems of the Hub, etc. A series of workshops, conferences, and meetings are also planned to bring global experts in direct contact with the Indian researchers and students in associated areas. Job Title: Junior ROS2 Engineer Role Summary We are seeking a Junior ROS2 Engineer to assist in building and improving autonomous robotic systems. The role involves ROS2 software development, hardware integration, and simulation-based testing. Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain ROS2 nodes. Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, IMU, and encoders. Use Gazebo and RViz for simulation and visualization. Assist in setting up basic power and electronics systems. Collaborate with the team on debugging, testing, and documentation. Create simple 3D models using CAD tools. Requirements Bachelor?s degree in Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics , or a related field. Basic hands-on experience with ROS2 , Python/C++ , Git , and Linux . Understanding of basic electronics and circuit fundamentals. Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
