Retail Trainer

📍 Role: Retail Trainer

📍 Location: Bengaluru (Open to travel across stores)

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute orientation programs for retail teams
• Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires
• Assign mentors and coaches to newly joined sales team members
• Observe the customer journey and identify training needs at each touchpoint
• Organize role-playing activities to simulate challenging customer situations
• Train retail teams on product knowledge, service standards, soft skills, and KPIs (in-store & classroom sessions)
• Apply modern sales training techniques such as gamification, case studies, and group activities
• Maintain and update training curriculum, materials, and documentation
• Create and manage a training calendar in coordination with the Retail Operations team

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Retail Trainer, Product Trainer, Sales Trainer, or similar role
• Experience in the retail industry (sportswear experience preferred)
• Willingness to travel and visit retail stores as required
• Ability to manage the full training cycle, including classroom and e-learning platforms
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate and develop sales teams to achieve targets
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field
• Training certifications will be an added advantage
