Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager for a full-time, on-site position at a leading supermarket chain in Dublin, Ireland. The Retail Store Manager oversees daily store operations, leads a team, drives sales performance, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains compliance with Irish retail standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead store team in customer service, product merchandising, and checkout efficiency to deliver exceptional shopping experiences and boost satisfaction scores.
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, supplier orders, and visual merchandising to optimize store layout and minimize waste.
• Conduct quality audits on store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with Irish Food Safety Authority (FSAI) and health regulations.
• Drive sales targets through promotions, staff scheduling, performance reviews, and handling peak-hour operations.
• Monitor customer feedback, resolve issues, report KPIs (e.g., sales, shrinkage), and implement improvements for operational excellence.

🔹 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or equivalent (relevant certification like NRA Retail Management preferred).
• 3+ years in retail management, ideally in supermarkets or high-volume stores, with proven team leadership.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills; thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent English communication; interpersonal skills and flexibility for shift work (including evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software (e.g., Epicor, Lightspeed), and Irish retail compliance (FSAI, employment law).
• Physical stamina for store walks, lifting, and standing; results-oriented with commercial acumen.
