Job Description

A Retail Store Manager oversees daily operations, drives sales performance, manages staff, and ensures high-quality customer service to maximize profitability. Responsibilities include recruiting/training employees, managing inventory, optimizing visual merchandising, controlling budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. They analyze sales data to meet targets and maintain a positive, efficient store environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operational Management: Directs daily activities, ensures store cleanliness, manages opening/closing, and handles cash procedures.
  • Sales & Financials: Sets and hits sales targets, analyzes performance data, and manages budgets to increase profitability.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruits, trains, coaches, and schedules employees while fostering a motivated, customer-centric team.
  • Inventory Control: Manages stock levels, orders merchandise, performs audits, and implements loss prevention measures.
  • Customer Service & Merchandising: Resolves customer complaints, ensures excellent service, and executes visual merchandising strategies to boost sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager.
  • Leadership: Strong communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to analyze data, manage P&L, and create action plans.
  • Organization: Excellent time management and operational planning abilities.

Common Requirements

  • Graduate
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail POS systems and inventory management software.

Experience

  • 2 to 8 Years Retail Experience.
