Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, manage cash and card payments, and ensure a positive customer experience. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our restaurant’s financial operations.


Location: Commercial Street, Bengaluru


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Service: Warmly greet customers, process transactions efficiently, handle complaints, and provide product information.
  • Cash & Payment Handling: Accurately manage cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments; count floats, balance the cash drawer, and report discrepancies.
  • POS Operation: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system (e.g., Petpooja) to enter orders, apply discounts, and print receipts.
  • Order Management: Take orders accurately, communicate with kitchen/bar staff, and serve food/beverages when needed.
  • Operational Support: Maintain a clean and organized counter, assist with restocking, and support other cafe operations during busy times.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile financial transactions. 


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Receipt Processing: Ability to process and issue receipts correctly.
  • Data Entry: Proficiency in entering transaction data accurately.
  • Payment Processing: Experience with processing various payment methods.
