Role Description The Reservations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position focuses on handling reservation requests, managing booking details, updating systems, and confirming reservations across relevant channels. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing accurate information about services, pricing, and availability, and resolving issues related to bookings or changes. The Reservations Specialist coordinates with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, supports sales efforts by promoting suitable options, and maintains clear communication records. Daily tasks also include following standard procedures, meeting service-level targets, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Strong reservations and booking management skills, with the ability to handle multiple requests and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including clear spoken and written English, and effective listening skills.
  • Proven customer service experience, with a focus on empathy, problem solving, and professional interaction.
  • Basic sales skills, with the capacity to suggest suitable options, upsell services, and support revenue goals.
  • Experience in training or mentoring peers on reservation processes, systems, or customer interaction standards.
  • Comfort with computer-based work, including reservation software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage time effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, travel, telecom, or a customer-facing operations role is an advantage.
  • Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a degree in business, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
