Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel’s reservation operations.
- Develop strategies to maximize room occupancy and maintain REVPAR.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Implement yield management techniques to optimize revenue performance.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data entry in the reservations system.
- Monitor and adjust room availability and rates as market demands.
- Train and supervise the reservations team to maintain service standards.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing reservation statistics.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on promotional activities.
- Assist in developing and managing group bookings and tour operator contracts.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor strategies to remain competitive.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a reservations or front desk management position.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle guest interactions.
- Proficiency in hotel reservations systems and software applications.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with yield management practices and pricing strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate detailed reservation reports regularly.
