Job Description:  

As a research scientist, you will work on translational research problems in the healthcare domain. We are looking for inquisitive postdocs who are enthusiastic about solving real-life problems in healthcare and deploying them on the ground. 


Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Understand the customer problem & ask clearly. Research on the problem space to ensure adequate understanding of the domain. 
  • Review the literature and evaluate the different existing options available for solving the problem. 
  • Understand the data, perform exploratory analysis and visualizations where needed to be able to relate to it 
  • Implement & evolve existing ML/DL models/algorithms and/or create alternative paradigms to solve the problem.  
  • Identify suitable success measures and build appropriate eval mechanisms to accurately assess the performance of the models.  
  • Follow best engineering practices and continuously integrate & test in the target environment. 
  • Devise a plan for execution of the project. Identify key milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks & risk mitigation mechanisms. 
  • Leverage AI thoughtfully and effectively. Recognize that AI is the tool that enhances productivity tremendously but provides minimal accountability for Validity, Maintainability, Performance & Scalability while leaving potentially large Footprint. 
  • Interact with fellow engineers, leads, research assistants and professors, to collaboratively make progress, assess the right approach and validate the solution


Required skills:  

  • Ph.D. in ECE, CS, or EEE disciplines with a strong programming knowledge.  
  • Expertise in programming with Python and ML Libraries including Sci-kit, PyTorch, TensorFlow and related toolkits. Working knowledge of SQL expected. 
  • Experience of working in Healthcare domain.  
  • Knowledge on application of Computer Vision & related algorithm for Medical Diagnosis is desirable. 
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.  
  • Version Control: Knowledge of Git and collaborative development using platforms like GitHub or GitLab.  
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both front-end and back-end code.  
  • Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices.  


Compensation Range: ₹10L – ₹15L per annum. We are open to flexibility beyond this range for exceptionally qualified candidates with a proven track record.
