Our main areas of focus are research - we do both primary as well as secondary research - and data analysis. The insights gathered are then leveraged to either create sustainable and robust business strategies for our clients or are published as a research report. In both cases, the intent is to optimally use our research and data analysis skills to create value.? Our clients operate across various domains in the BFSI, including Regulatory (GIFT City IFSC); Industry bodies (IVCA); Mutual Funds (Aditya Birla Sunlife, Nippon India, ICICI Prudential, Union, Edelweiss, Sundaram, DSP & JM Financial); Alternative investment funds (Sundaram, Dolat, Quest, Nuvama, Lighthouse Canton, Edelweiss Alternatives); and Wealth Management Firms (Nuvama Private, Centrum, Geojit, 360One, Avendus, Multi-Act), etc.? Our global clients include Mashreq, Julius Baer, Deloitte, etc.? Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Researcher based in Mumbai. The Researcher will conduct primary and secondary research, prepare detailed research reports, and provide insights to support decision-making. Gather relevant information on macro-economic data, industry, companies Analyse and maintain data on various aspects Articulation of insights into documents, whitepapers, thought leadership narratives, presentations, newsletters. Present findings and insights to clients and engage with them on a regular basis Ideate on topics that can support in building thought leadership content for our clients Data analysis of industry numbers, macros, equity and debt market indicators, sectoral analysis Daily tasks include creating technical content pieces including presentations, newsletters, reports, thought leadership articles. Qualifications Strong writing skills Mandatory: Understanding of financial services - mutual fund, PMS, AIF, wealth management Understanding of macro economics, capital markets Ability to collaborate with research team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in creating technical and highly researched content Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work on-site in Mumbai Experience in the journalism or research industry is preferred Experience in any mutual fund (such as Birla, Sundaram, Nippon, UTI, ITI, WhiteOak, Bandhan, PGIM etc. product team members or strategy team members)/ wealth management (such as Avendus, Centrum, Sanctum, mid-size wealth management product teams)/ Any AIF/ PMS product team member will be an advantage. Educational qualifications: MA, MCom, MBA, CA, CFA, Masters in Economics
