Role Description The Research and Development Manager is a full-time role responsible for leading innovation initiatives that enhance Japture’s AI-driven, future-ready learning solutions. This hybrid position is based in Patna, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing R&D projects, conducting market and educational research, and translating findings into new programs, tools, and features. The role involves managing cross-functional project teams, setting priorities and timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality, impact, and scalability goals. The manager will collaborate closely with product, academic, and technology teams to test prototypes, gather feedback from learners and partners, and continuously refine Japture’s offerings.
Qualifications

• Strong Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills, with the ability to design, execute, and evaluate innovative projects.
• Proven Team Management and Team Leadership capabilities to guide and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in education technology, AI, or skills development domains is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Management, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Patna, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on measurable impact.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and comfort presenting research insights to diverse audiences.
