Research Analyst

About the Role

We're hiring an Investment Analyst – Private Markets (Unlisted/Pre-IPO/Secondary) with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. Full-time, in-office. We're looking for someone who wants to do real research and own investment outcomes. You'll work on evaluating unlisted opportunities, tracking our existing portfolio holdings, and assessing portfolio companies of the AIFs we're invested in. You'll also help us source deals and build relationships to get allocations at favorable valuations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth company and industry research across listed and unlisted markets

• 2-4 years in PE, IB, family offices, unlisted platforms, or AIF/VC firms. You understand how private transactions work. 

• Financial modelling, valuation, unit economics, cap table math – you're comfortable with the building blocks

• Contribute to the development and scaling of the Unlisted Screener product, from concept to execution

•Sourcing deals, building relationships with intermediaries, getting us into rounds at the right price – this matters as much as the analysis.

•You've done scuttlebutt – channel checks, competitor calls, ex-employee conversations. You know that edge doesn't come from decks and data rooms alone.

• Leverage technology and AI tools to improve research efficiency and organizational processes

Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years in private markets, equity research, IB, or related roles

• CA/CFA preferred – not a dealbreaker • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills

• Comfortable travelling

• Based in Delhi or open to relocating

• Strong analytical and research capabilities with attention to detail

• Ability to take ownership and independently solve problems

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to execution

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

• Familiarity with technology and interest in leveraging AI tools
