Industry: Healthcare — Women’s Health and Secondary Care Hospital (Gynaecology & Obstetrics). Located in Behror, Rajasthan, this is a clinical opportunity in a 50‑bed specialist gynaecology hospital providing comprehensive maternity, surgical and outpatient services. Role: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (Fem-ale preferred).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum on-site clinical care across outpatient, inpatient and emergency settings for women’s health and obstetrics in a 50‑bed hospital.
  • Perform and lead surgical procedures including NDVH, TLH, DHL and other advanced laparoscopic gynaecologic operations with high standards of safety and documentation.
  • Deliver hands-on ultrasound services — conduct antenatal scans, anomaly scans and transvaginal/abdominal imaging; mentor junior doctors in scan technique.
  • Manage labour and deliveries including vaginal and operative deliveries, and stabilise/manage obstetric emergencies and perioperative care.
  • Train and upskill nursing staff and junior clinicians through bedside teaching, supervised procedures and structured skills sessions (laparoscopy and ultrasound).
  • Maintain accurate medical records, participate in quality-improvement initiatives, and follow hospital clinical governance, infection control and patient safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS with MS/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (or equivalent) and valid Indian medical registration.
  • Proven competency in NDVH, TLH, DHL and advanced laparoscopic gynaecologic procedures.
  • Hands-on experience in obstetric and gynaecologic ultrasound including fetal anomaly scans and transvaginal imaging.
  • Ability to manage antenatal care, labour ward duties, Caesarean sections and obstetric emergencies.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Behror, Rajasthan and participate in rostered clinical duties.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or formal training in Minimal Access / Laparoscopic Gynaecologic Surgery.
  • Prior experience in a 30–100 bed secondary-care gynaecology/maternity hospital or mentoring junior clinicians in operative skills.
  • Certifications such as BLS/ACLS and training in prenatal screening protocols.
