Job Description
The Scaled Accounts Renewal Manager I is responsible for renewing a large, high-volume book of lower-ARR customers at scale. This role focuses on efficient renewal execution, risk mitigation, and process-driven account management rather than deep customer outcomes or adoption strategy. Success is defined by retention performance, operational rigor, and the ability to manage hundreds of accounts simultaneously through standardized motions.
What you’ll do:
- Own renewal execution for a book of lower-ARR accounts.
- Manage renewals at scale using structured, repeatable processes and automation.
- Serve as the primary owner of renewal communication and timelines.
- Proactively identify churn risk signals (e.g., non-payment, downgrade requests, contract timing).
- Execute downgrade, cancellation, and termination workflows accurately and efficiently.
- Partner with Billing, Collections, and Finance to resolve payment and contract issues.
- Ensure renewal data, contract terms, and customer status are accurate in Salesforce.
- Use tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Hook, Gong, and internal systems) to manage volume and prioritize outreach.
- Handle inbound renewal-related inquiries and objections.
- Escalate exceptions, edge cases, and high-risk accounts as needed.
- Identify patterns and operational gaps impacting retention and surface them to leadership.
- Follow defined playbooks rather than custom, account-specific strategies.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Renewals, or a related SaaS role.
- Experience managing a high-volume book of business.
- Strong operational and process discipline.
- Comfortable with transactional, time-bound renewal conversations.
- Ability to work efficiently across hundreds of accounts with minimal customization.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with Billing and Finance teams.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- Proficiency in Salesforce; experience with CS and revenue tools (e.g., Hook, Gong) is a plus.
Base Salary Range:
802,000 - 1,318,000 INR annually
