Job Description: Senior Java Full Stack Developer (8?15 Years) Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, Apache Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) Domain: Retail / E-commerce Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and optimize large-scale retail e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot , strong front-end proficiency in Angular or React , and hands-on experience implementing Kafka-based event-driven architectures . You will work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, customer-facing web solutions. Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices with high scalability and low latency. Build and maintain RESTful APIs , integrate with internal and third-party systems. Implement Kafka producers/consumers , event streams, and messaging pipelines. Apply solid knowledge of distributed systems , caching, asynchronous processing, and concurrency. Optimize service performance and reliability using profiling, monitoring, and logging tools. Frontend Development Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using Angular or React . Implement reusable UI components, state management, and client-side API integrations. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for retail shopping experiences. Work with UX teams to enhance user journeys, checkout flows, and personalization features. E-commerce Domain Responsibilities Build and enhance features for customer shopping journeys: Product catalog Search and filtering Cart and checkout flows Order tracking and user account modules Integrate with payment gateways, inventory systems, OMS, PIM, CRM , and other retail systems. Handle high-traffic scenarios, seasonal spikes, and scale engineering solutions accordingly. Data & Cloud Responsibilities Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.). Deploy and operate microservices on AWS/Azure/GCP . Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools. Integrate observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc. Team & Collaboration Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Grooming, Retrospectives). Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship for junior developers. Work closely with architects to define solution design and system architecture. Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables. Required Skills & Experience 8?15 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer. Strong proficiency in: Java 8+ , Spring Boot, Microservices Angular (8+) or React.js Apache Kafka (mandatory) Experience working on high-volume retail/e-commerce websites. Expertise in REST APIs, distributed systems, design patterns, and best coding practices. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with containerization: Docker , Kubernetes (nice to have). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with CI/CD , automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress). Knowledge of caching technologies: Redis, Hazelcast. Exposure to search engines like ElasticSearch or Solr . Experience in performance tuning for high-traffic applications. Experience in GraphQL (optional). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Leadership in resolving technical challenges and driving solutions.
