Eligibility/Qualification–

Post and Pay Structure Minimum Qualification Assistant Professor Grade I Academic level 12 Rs.1,01,500/- as per 7th CPC Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate discipline, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high quality teaching and research.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial/professional experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Candidates should be highly motivated towards teaching and research and should have demonstrated teaching and research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and referred conferences, patents, books, laboratory/course development and/of other recognized relevant professional activities. Candidates should be below 37 years of age. Assistant Professor Grade II Academic level 10 Rs.70,900/- or Academic level 11 Rs.75,300/- as per 7th CPC Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate discipline, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high quality teaching and research.

Experience: Persons so appointed shall be eligible for consideration for appointment to the position of Assistant Professor Grade-I upon fulfilment of requisite work experience. Candidates should be below 37 years of age.
