Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments.
- Administer medications, injections, and therapies as prescribed by physicians or authorized providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment.
- Follow infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and clinical best practices.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient status.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable U.S. state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on role.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and clinical standards.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
