Role Description This is a full-time Regional Sales Manager role based in Ballari, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the assigned region, including planning and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth for Sudarshan Farm’s crop solutions and products. Typical responsibilities include leading and mentoring a regional sales team, monitoring performance against targets, conducting market visits, and gathering customer and market insights. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams, organizing farmer meetings and field demonstrations, and ensuring that solutions are communicated clearly and ethically to partners and customers. The Regional Sales Manager will report on regional performance, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in regional or territory sales management, preferably in agriculture, agri-inputs, or related sectors.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, negotiation, and relationship management with farmers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Competence in market analysis, forecasting, and reporting using basic digital tools and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical or product information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities across a region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region and to occasional company meetings or events.
