*Role Overview*

We are seeking a *High-Caliber Regional Sales Manager* to lead business development across the *North region*, with a strong focus on the *Government and Public Sector vertical*. The ideal candidate should bring a strong *IT sales background*, deep understanding of government procurement processes, and the ability to drive large, multi-solution deals across IT, AV, security, and integrated systems.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • *Drive regional sales strategy and execution* across North India for Govt, PSU, and Enterprise segments
  • *Own and grow business* within key ministries, PSUs, defense, smart cities, education, and large enterprises
  • *Build and manage relationships* with bureaucrats, CXOs, IT heads, and senior decision-makers in public sector organizations
  • *Identify, develop, and close large opportunities* in IT infrastructure, data centers, AV, unified communication, cyber security, and smart governance
  • *Navigate government procurement cycles* – tenders, GeM, RFPs, EOI, rate contracts, and L1/T1 processes effectively
  • *Own the complete sales cycle* from lead generation, bid management, technical qualification, to deal closure
  • *Achieve and exceed regional revenue targets* – Expected annual order booking of ₹20–35 Cr
  • *Build a strong and predictable sales pipeline* with accurate forecasting and weekly reviews with MD
  • *Work closely with pre-sales, OEMs, and SI partners* like HP, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, Samsung, CP Plus, Honeywell to create winning bids
  • *Drive account mining and expansion* within existing government and enterprise clients
  • *Track market intelligence*, policy changes, budget allocations, and upcoming government opportunities
  • *Represent the organization* in key government forums, industry bodies, and trade engagements
  • *Ensure strong coordination* with delivery teams for seamless project execution and customer satisfaction

*Candidate Profile*

  • *Experience*: 10–15 years in sales with strong focus on Government/PSU vertical. *Govt sales background mandatory*
  • *Domain Expertise*: Proven experience in handling govt tenders, RFPs, GeM, and ₹5Cr+ large deals
  • *Product Knowledge*: Strong background in IT sales – servers, storage, networking, AV, security, smart city solutions
  • *Network*: Existing relationships with NIC, C-DAC, PSUs, ministries, state govts, and nodal agencies in North India
  • *Skills*: Excellent understanding of govt sales cycles, commercial terms, PBG, EMD, and compliance
  • *Education*: B.E/B.Tech in IT/CS/ECE. MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
  • *Attributes*: Self-driven, strategic thinker, strong negotiation skills, and high integrity
  • *Other*: Regular office presence in NCR required. Fluent in English & Hindi
