Job Description

*Regional Manager – Distribution Sales (Fans & Geysers)*

  • Location:* T. Nagar, Chennai
  • Experience:* 20–25 years in FMCG/Appliance Distribution Sales
  • Salary:* ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,50,000/month + Incentives + Car Allowance
  • Reports To:* National Sales Head

📌 *Role Overview:*

You’ll drive sales & distribution strategy for fans & geysers across Southern region (Tamil Nadu + Pondicherry). You’re the boss of channel partners, dealers, and distributors — making sure products fly off shelves, targets are smashed, and market share grows.

✅ *Key Responsibilities:*

🔹 *Sales Leadership*

  • Lead, mentor & motivate a team of Area Sales Managers / Distributors
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets with aggressive growth plans
  • Manage P&L for assigned region; optimize pricing, discounts, and promotions

🔹 *Channel Management*

  • Build & nurture strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and e-com platforms
  • Conduct regular channel meets, trade shows, and dealer incentive programs

🔹 *Market Intelligence*

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotions
  • Identify new market opportunities, untapped towns, and emerging channels

🔹 *Logistics & Inventory*

  • Ensure smooth supply chain from warehouse to retail outlet
  • Minimize stockouts, manage slow-moving SKUs, reduce dead stock

🔹 *Reporting & Strategy*

  • Weekly/monthly sales dashboards, forecasts, and strategy reviews
  • Present insights to senior management; propose new GTM models

🎯 *Must-Have Qualifications:*

✔️ 20–25 years in FMCG/Consumer Durables/Appliance Distribution Sales

✔️ Proven track record of managing large territories & teams

✔️ Deep knowledge of fan & geyser market dynamics, seasonality, channel behavior

✔️ Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills

✔️ Comfortable traveling 70–80% of the time across Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry

✔️ Computer literacy – Excel, CRM, basic ERP familiarity

✔️ Owns a car + valid license (car allowance provided)
