Job Title: Regional Key Account Manager – Commercial & Industrial (C&I)

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Location: Pan India


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Key Account Manager – C&I to drive business growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop solar segment. The incumbent will be responsible for developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing the complete sales lifecycle, and ensuring successful project conversion and execution.

The role requires strong experience in the rooftop solar industry, particularly in handling large C&I solar projects and engaging with key stakeholders across various industries.

Educational Qualification

  • Preferred: MBA
  • Minimum: B.E. / B.Tech

Experience Required

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in the Solar Rooftop C&I business.
  • Experience in managing and closing large-value C&I solar rooftop projects.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates with exposure to similar organizations in the solar EPC and rooftop solar industry will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute effective rooftop solar sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across commercial and industrial customer segments.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and order booking targets.

Key Account Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and influencers.
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Understand customer needs and provide customized solar energy solutions.

Project Acquisition & Conversion

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Coordinate site assessments, proposal preparation, techno-commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure timely conversion of opportunities into successful orders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, project execution, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of awarded projects.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between customers and internal stakeholders.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, government policies, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to strengthen business strategy.

Team & Channel Management

  • Recruit, train, and support solar sales executives and channel partners, as required.
  • Drive performance and capability development within the sales ecosystem.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
