Z Hotels is expanding deliberately across North India. We are not looking to sign properties opportunistically. This role exists to build a disciplined supply engine grounded in insight, credibility, and trust.
Your mandate is clear:
- Sign at least 30 high quality hotels on revenue share or management contracts
- Build and train a BD organisation that understands how owners think, how decisions are made, and how trust is earned
This is not a pipeline management role. It is a market shaping role.

What you will be responsible for
Build a scientific BD engine
- Design BD processes grounded in owner psychology, decision dynamics, and incentives
- Ensure pitches and conversations adapt to different owner archetypes rather than relying on a single narrative
- Continuously refine approach based on learning from the field
Create proprietary access to supply
- Build multiple lead channels across brokers, networks, digital platforms, referrals, and unconventional sources
- Treat access as a strategic advantage, not a support function
- Ensure the region never depends on a single pipeline
Close high quality partnerships
- Lead complex conversations with owners grounded in operational and financial credibility
- Align expectations clearly so partnerships start with trust and clarity
- Focus on quality of deals, not just count
Build a training culture
- Train BD teams deeply on pitching, positioning, and objection craft
- Run structured reviews, drills, and feedback loops
- Ensure the team understands not just what to say, but why it works
Build a living objection intelligence system
- Capture objections precisely and convert them into playbooks
- Identify recurring patterns in owner concerns
- Continuously improve language and responses
Bring rigor to funnel and deal management
- Track funnel health with clarity across stages
- Diagnose where deals slow or stall and intervene early
- Manage deal momentum consciously
Represent the brand with authority
- Ensure every interaction reinforces Z Hotels as a thoughtful, credible partner
- Elevate how the market perceives the brand
What success looks like after 12 months
- 30 strong hotel partnerships signed across the region
- A BD team capable of leading sophisticated owner conversations independently
- Strong proprietary lead pipelines across multiple channels
- Objection patterns documented and actively used in training
- Funnel data that clearly drives decisions and coaching
- Owners view Z Hotels as a serious operator, not a distributor
