Job Description

We are hiring a Regional Construction Manager – BOP for a leading Indian multinational organization. The role is responsible for leading regional construction activities for industrial boiler projects, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality execution of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems while managing site teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction activities for Process Boilers, Thermal Oil Heaters (TOH), and Fuel Handling Systems (FHS) across the assigned region.
• Ensure timely availability of construction materials as per the project schedule.
• Monitor project progress, site execution, productivity, quality, safety, and cost adherence.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Drive standardization of construction methodologies, SOPs, and best practices across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with IBR regulations, statutory requirements, EHS standards, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and safety reviews while implementing corrective actions.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site manpower to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor project risks, prepare progress reports, and proactively resolve execution challenges.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional construction teams while fostering a high-performance culture.

Candidate Profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-15 years of experience in industrial boiler/BOP construction and project execution.
• Hands-on experience in Process Boilers, Thermal Oil Heaters, Fuel Handling Systems, and Balance of Plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of IBR, construction methodologies, contractor management, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in handling multiple project sites and leading construction teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
