The Regional Accounting Service Hub Manager is responsible for leading and managing centralized accounting operations across multiple locations within the region. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, process standardization, and continuous improvement within the accounting service hub.
Key Activities
- Build the service organization in the respective region within the next two years
- Establish and coordinate Accounting Service Hub expert services for regional legal entities
- Ensure the continuous delivery ability of the organization during the build and go live phase
- Give guidance and a positive example for all employees within the service organization and promote the service center at the retained organization
- Manage the Accounting services teams in accordance with the strategic goals
- Implement and run the service organization utilizing best practices concerning processes, people, role models, tools, activity splits
- Foster problem/conflict resolution, coaching and training for people development
- Responsible for maintaining all compliance requirements of transactional processes
- Align the requirements of stakeholders and top management in order to meet service quality expectations and cost targets
- Candidate should have experience of working in Accounting Shared Services center / GCC – Accounting services.
Professional Requirements
- University degree in business administration or related studies, master's degree preferred (MBA Finance form reputed institution)
- Minimum of five years of solid management experience in an international environment
- Minimum of five years of practical experience in Accounting / Finance or other admin processes
- Experience in building a service organization in a line function for an international enterprise desirable
- Profound experience in transformation projects, process optimization and / or quality management is an advantage
- Proficient in using MS office application
- Experience in the use of Accounting ERP
- Strong independent, structured and proactive way of working
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people
- Strong solution-based attitude as well as a quality awareness
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Accurate concerning compliance
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel multiple times a year
- Willingness to work in an environment with shift operations
