Job Description
Recruitment Manager required for garment manufacturing hiring. Must travel locally to mobilize and recruit workers. Responsible for sourcing blue-collar candidates, conducting field visits, and building a strong manpower pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blue-Collar Recruitment Strategy:
Develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies to source, attract, and hire high-quality blue-collar workers across various departments such as production, quality control, warehousing, and logistics.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Manage the complete recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, skills assessments, coordinating onboarding, and finalizing employment contracts for blue-collar positions.
- Sourcing & Talent Pool Development:
Identify and implement innovative sourcing techniques, including local job boards, recruitment agencies, job fairs, and community outreach. Develop and maintain a strong talent pool of qualified candidates for blue-collar positions.Conduct initial screening and interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and ability to meet the physical and operational demands of garment production environments. Coordinate practical tests or skills evaluations when needed.Ensure that all recruitment activities adhere to local labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records of interviews, hiring processes, and onboarding activities for compliance and reporting purposes.Collaborate with department heads and production managers to understand staffing requirements, production goals, and shift schedules to align recruitment efforts with operational needs.Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the workforce. This includes coordinating induction training, safety protocols, and issuing uniforms or equipment as necessary. Work closely with HR and operations teams to address any retention challenges, improve employee engagement, and reduce turnover among blue-collar workers. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and job placement services, ensuring they provide high-quality candidates and meet agreed-upon recruitment targets.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on blue-collar recruitment in the garment industry or similar manufacturing sectors. Previous experience managing large-scale recruitment for production, warehouse, or operational roles is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the garment industry and blue-collar roles, including production workers, machine operators, quality control technicians, and warehouse staff.
