Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer (ReactJS) to build and enhance high-performance, consumer-facing web applications for video streaming and related products.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing scalable web applications that deliver smooth, responsive, and reliable user experiences.

You will work across the full application lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready applications in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ReactJS-based web applications and SDKs for video streaming across browsers and TV platforms

Build and support metadata management and web platforms

Design and implement responsive, interactive UI components with strong usability and performance

Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs

Deliver features across the full lifecycle: prototyping, development, testing, release, and post-launch support

Optimize frontend performance, stability, scalability, and reliability

Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and debugging best practices

Work closely with design teams to translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect interfaces

Collaborate with backend engineers, QA teams, and product managers

Participate in technical discussions, planning, and delivery timelines

Stay updated with frontend technologies, browsers, and development tools

Mandatory Skills

4+ years of experience in Frontend Web Development

2+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS

Strong expertise in:

JavaScript (ES6+)

HTML5

CSS3

AJAX

JSON

Experience building large-scale consumer-facing web applications

Strong debugging skills using Browser DevTools, performance profiling, and network analysis

Experience integrating REST APIs

Streaming & Video Technology (Required)

Experience integrating video players (Shaka Player or similar)

Knowledge of video streaming technologies

HLS

DASH

Understanding of:

DRM integrations

Playback error handling

Buffering optimization

Analytics tracking

Security & Integration

Experience implementing secure playback mechanisms

JWT authentication

Tokenized media URLs

Signed URLs

Role-based access validation
