Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are seeking a React.js Developer (Accessibility) with 2–4 years of experience in building modern, scalable, and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and hands-on experience implementing WCAG 2.x accessibility standards across enterprise-grade applications.

The candidate will work closely with UX designers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to develop responsive, high-performing user interfaces while ensuring accessibility compliance is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, performing accessibility testing, and delivering reusable UI components is essential.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and accessible web applications using React.js.
• Develop reusable UI components following component-based architecture and enterprise standards.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.x accessibility guidelines and security standards across all UI components.
• Perform accessibility testing, identify accessibility issues, and implement remediation using tools such as Axe/Deque and screen readers (JAWS, NVDA).
• Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, and development teams to implement accessible wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library (RTL), Jasmine, or Karma.
• Participate in code reviews, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous UI improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and development best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting modern front-end development practices and accessibility-first design principles.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment processes.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Exposure to automated accessibility testing integration within development pipelines.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or contributing to UI development standards and best practices.
