Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned React.JS Lead Engineer to lead the front-end development of complex, large-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will be a technical visionary with deep expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, and scalable UI architecture. You will be responsible for guiding a team of frontend developers, shaping the technical direction of our web platforms, and ensuring the delivery of high-performance, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces across diverse enterprise domains. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling. Architect scalable, reusable, and performant component libraries and UI frameworks aligned with design system standards. Champion best practices in state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand), routing (React Router), and form handling (Formik, React Hook Form). Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences. Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level frontend engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Drive adoption of modern development practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Jest, Cypress, RTL), and observability in frontend applications. Optimize application performance, load times, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) across all supported browsers and devices. Evaluate and integrate new frontend technologies, libraries, and tools to enhance developer productivity and product quality. Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution in production environments. Represent the frontend team in technical discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decision-making forums. Required Qualifications: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js and TypeScript. Proven experience leading frontend teams or technical projects in enterprise environments. Expertise in modern React patterns including hooks, custom hooks, context, and server-side rendering (Next.js). In-depth knowledge of state management, build tools (Webpack, Vite), package managers (npm, yarn), and dependency management. Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development principles. Experience with CI/CD workflows, containerization (Docker), and deployment to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, make sound architectural decisions, and influence engineering culture. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Next.js, Gatsby, or other React-based SSR frameworks. Exposure to micro-frontend architectures and module federation. Knowledge of backend integration (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) and API-first development. Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms, healthcare IT, financial services, or media & entertainment systems. Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, or SOC 2. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of published applications.
