Job Title: R&D Manager

Location: Nashik

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Manager, Software Engineering, who embodies a unique blend of technical prowess and exceptional people leadership. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background as both a Technical Lead and a People Leader/Manager, dedicated to fostering innovation and delivering high-quality software solutions.

As our R&D Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of talented engineers in the development of scalable web and Cloud SaaS applications. You will champion best practices in software development, promote continuous innovation, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality through robust test automation and performance engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development guidance to R&D staff.
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality software products, emphasizing continuous innovation, test automation, and performance engineering.
  • Make sound technical and strategic decisions, navigating ambiguity with confidence and active listening.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, address, and creatively resolve application issues.
  • Contribute to and review software design and architecture, ensuring scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of combined engineering management/team lead experience in enterprise/web applications.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise/web applications.
  • 4+ years of direct experience leading software engineering staff.
  • 3+ years of experience building and leveraging APIs, particularly with Microsoft Technologies.
  • Strong expertise in scalable web application development, with a preference for Cloud SaaS application development.
  • Full-stack proficiency, including hands-on experience with frontend (e.g., React/Angular), backend (e.g., .Net, Web API), and data technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Redis).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and modern data architectures.
  • Proven software design and architecture experience.
  • Exceptional decision-making capabilities and an ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on proactive problem-solving.
