Beyond maintenance, you will act as a strategic gatekeeper—evaluating new reporting requests to ensure we are building efficient, non-redundant solutions that truly serve the business.
What You’ll Do (Primary Responsibilities)
- Reporting Maintenance & Data Refresh (60%): Maintain and update existing reports across various teams, ensuring they remain the "source of truth" in a shifting data environment.
- Strategic Request Evaluation (30%): Review new reporting requests for necessity and viability. You’ll determine if a new build is required or if existing reports can be leveraged through filtering to prevent "report graveyard" proliferation.
- Presentation & Functionality (10%): Perform necessary tasks on current reports and present their functionality to stakeholders to ensure they are being utilized effectively.
- Ensuring Data Integrity: You will troubleshoot "Logic Drift" (caused by new billing codes or payer rules) and resolve data latency issues to ensure stakeholders never make financial decisions based on outdated info.
- Standardization: You’ll audit our reporting library, replacing obsolete templates with versions that align with current business rules and NCCI coding standards.
- Process Optimization: You will enhance report utility by introducing targeted filters, saving technical resources while providing users with exactly the data they need.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Science field preferred).
- Experience: At least 7+ years of RCM experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Technical Mastery: * Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets.
- Expertise in developing scripts for recurring metric creation and database optimization.
- Strong capability in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends and anomalies.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot errors/inconsistencies and the judgment to know when to "sunset" or merge redundant reports.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in SQL and Power BI are highly preferred.
- Agility: You embrace change and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced RCM environment.
- Customer Focus: You build strong relationships with internal teams (Client Success, Coding, Auditing) to deliver data-centric solutions.
- Accountability: You take ownership of data accuracy, even withholding reports if data integrity appears compromised.
- Communication: You clearly express complex data ideas to build trust and ensure cross-functional understanding.
- Meals & Snacks: Enjoy complimentary office lunches & dinners on select days and healthy snacks delivered to your desk,
- Insurance Coverage: Comprehensive health, accidental, and life insurance plans, including coverage for family members, all at no cost to employees,
- Allowances: Annual wellness allowance to support your well-being and productivity,
- Earned, casual, and sick leaves to maintain a healthy work-life balance,
- Bereavement leave for difficult times and extended medical leave options,
- Paid parental leaves, including maternity, paternity, adoption, surrogacy, and abortion leave,
- Celebration leave to make your special day even more memorable, and company-paid holidays to recharge and unwind.
