General Consultants (GC) For Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project Phase-01

We are seeking applications for the role of Quantity Estimator-Civil in Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

• Quantity Estimator-Civil will verify contractor bills by cross-checking against actual executed quantities to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.
• Support the preparation and review of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimation for project packages, contributing to budget control and financial planning.
• Coordinate with site teams to conduct joint measurements and quantity verification, ensuring transparency and consensus on work completed.
• Maintain detailed logs of approved, estimated, and executed quantities, regularly updating and sharing these records with the Chief Contract Manager (CCM) for contract management and reporting purposes.
  
  

Profile/Skills

• Graduate Engineer with Civil Engineering.
• 8 years and specific 3 years in Metro.
• Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong team player and effective team leader.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
• Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
