Role Overview: Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and certification programs for a high-volume Recycling / ITAD facility. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2v3, e-Stewards, EPR, and customer-specific quality standards while driving continuous improvement across operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in quality systems, audits, documentation, regulatory compliance, and integrated management systems within recycling, manufacturing, or allied industries.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and related quality standards.
  • Drive certification, surveillance, internal, supplier, customer, and OEM audits (ISO 9001/14001/45001, R2v3, e-Stewards), including audit planning, documentation, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, and PDCA.
  • Own document control, SOPs, work instructions, training records, change management, material traceability, chain of custody, and customer compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with E-Waste Management Rules, Hazardous Waste Rules, EPR, and SPCB/CPCB requirements, including regulatory documentation, inspections, and vendor compliance.
  • Partner with operations to implement process quality controls, standardization, data-driven improvements, training programs, and digital quality workflows.
  • Support implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, including risk assessments, incident investigations, environmental and safety documentation, and waste handling compliance.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Quality Systems, Audits, and Compliance within Recycling, E-Waste, ITAD, Electronics, Automotive, or Manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and at least one of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2v3, e-Stewards, or IATF 16949.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks including EPR, E-Waste Rules, Hazardous Waste Rules, SPCB/CPCB requirements.
  • Proficiency in QMS documentation, audit management, SOP development, root cause analysis, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Success will be measured through certification compliance, audit performance, CAPA effectiveness, documentation accuracy, vendor quality, traceability, and customer quality metrics.
