Quality Jr. Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports the Quality Assurance team in ensuring product and process quality meets established standards and customer expectations. This role involves assisting with quality control activities, data analysis, and documentation to maintain high-quality outputs.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
• Support the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action (CAPA) investigations for quality deviations.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Aid in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation.
  
  

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance setting is a plus.
