Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in the Pune. The Quality Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality processes and standards for products and research outputs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant industry regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing inspections and tests, analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of issues, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to integrate quality requirements into product development, validation, and manufacturing activities. The Quality Engineer will also prepare documentation, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The Quality Engineer will ensure compliance with ISO 13485, CDSCO, FDA, and CE standards

Qualifications


  • Demonstrated skills in Quality Engineering and Product Quality, with experience applying quality principles in a technical or healthcare-related environment.
  • 3-5 years experience in quality control and quality assurance in a medical device company.
  • Strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including testing, inspection, and verification of processes and products.
  • Ability to manage and improve Quality Management systems, including documentation, audits, and compliance with relevant standards or regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using quality and documentation tools, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and work on-site in the Pune Division.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or research environments is an advantage.
