Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode - Be the local expert of the traceability system for the manufacturing floor.
• Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs
• Create and maintain quality control documentation, ensure related training and application in the sector
• Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter
• Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solving on his/her sector
• Be a member of the Short Interval Management (of the production lines)
• Provide solutions to increase Customer Satisfaction
• Provide inputs and challenges about quality for new evolution, contribute to process/control capability implementation
• Be the local expert of the assembled products in his/her sector

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic)
• 3 + years' experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.)
• Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired
• Experience on ESD desired.
