QA Engineer

Manchester - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Maxwell Bond have partnered with a growing Retail Distribution company that are looking to hire a QA Engineer to support their current growing team.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality across web, API, and integration layers in a complex, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable test suites (UI, API, and integration)
• Incorporate smoke, regression, and contract tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, continuous feedback
• Integrate shift-left quality practices throughout the SDLC
• Validate key journeys (search, pricing, checkout) and data accuracy
• Lead defect analysis, improve QA processes, and support release sign-off

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience as a QA Engineer in WMS and/or ERP environments is desirable
• Strong automation and API testing experience
• Experience working with complex system integrations
• Skilled using Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Newman, REST Assured or similar
• Experience with one or more programming languages used in test automation and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C#, Python)
• Experience with Agile environments and CI/CD tools

Salary up to 50K, Hybrid working (3 days onsite), 10% pension scheme, 25 days Annual Leave + Bank holidays, and much more!
